SPS supports AJT youth football

The importance of youth sports in today's society has never been more apparent, with physical education programs being cut from public-school curriculum and childhood obesity rates at the highest levels in history. SPS supports any youth activities that promote an active life-style while teaching life lessons that apply both on and off the playing field.

Following the 2015 S.A.C. Football Season, the Antelope Jr. Titan Jr. Pee-Wee football team sought to play in the 7th Annual California Bowl, a tournament for the best youth football teams in Northern California; SPS provided financial assistance for the Jr. Titans to pay for access to lit practice fields in the weeks leading up to the Cali Bowl and SPS sponsored (2) AJT players who were unable to pay the $50 registration cost to participate in the event.

The Jr. Pee-Wees went on to win the 2015 Cali Bowl after defeating league champions from several youth football programs from Norther California.
